Much of the recent criticism towards Epic Games Store is because of the fact that users normally have to have multiple game launchers installed. Epic Games seems pretty keen about how things are going too, with Steve Allison, General Manager of the Epic Games Store, explaining in a statement, " it’s an important step towards breaking down walls between PC stores, as it enables a unified experience for players to manage their PC games library independent of where their games were purchased."īesides combining your games library, you can also use GOG Galaxy 2.0 to check your play history, leaderboards, and the overview of all your Epic Games Store games. It's not quite perfect but it seems likely that GOG Galaxy 2.0 is going to continue to expand. It tracks and scans all your connected accounts, ensuring you can launch all your games from a single spot without the bother of switching between different launchers. 'With Shadow Warrior 2, It just takes me to the store page to buy it, without an 'install' option. When you buy a game from Gog.com you can either install the game directly inside GoG Galaxy or by clicking the Download and Install Now option within the GoG.com website itself. Essentially, it's made GOG Galaxy 2.0 a far more appealing proposition if you prefer to keep things neat. Game Pass and GoG are two entirely separate systems. ![]() Through community-created plugins, it's also possible to integrate your Origin, PlayStation Network, Steam and Uplay libraries too although there aren't official forms of integration just yet. This means that GOG Galaxy 2.0 now has official support for Xbox Live titles, GOG/CDPR purchased titles, other DRM free games, plus all your Epic Games Store purchased titles too. Here are 3 different links, all point to the exact same file. This is the CDN their Web Installer calls. Unless your SSD is so full it cannot hold the temporary installer files. Its not 'official' in the sense that GOG does not publish direct links to the installers, but as you can see from the URL, it comes straight from GOGs CDN, hosted on their Domain Name, so its safe. Changin the drive letter manually should just start the install process. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this. The Grey box wont load after half a day and Im not sure if its a common bug, Im not sure the fix for this and I cant find it anywhere. I never saw any GOG installer do what you describe, ever (and I have been using GOG longer than I do Steam), this is why I am surprised. I got oblivion through the prime gaming offer, however on GOG Galaxy, Ill hit install and be stuck on a loading page. Originally posted by talgaby:Is the installer itself intact? There is a checkbox at the start of the process that lets it do a self-check. If case you are entering the wrong credentials, you won’t be able to connect Steam to GOG Galaxy. ![]()
